Hey there! My passion for climbing kicked off way back in 2001. Over the past 25 years, I've completely immersed myself in the climbing community—starting out as a youth competitor jumping into national events, spending 12 years as a routesetting foreman designing interesting movement for local gyms, and dedicating over a decade as a coach guiding youth athletes to national titles.
Because I love blending sports performance with heavy movement-based science, I decided to go all-in academically. I finished my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Cal State East Bay and earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacramento State University. This rare combo of clinic time, setting history, and coaching experience means I look at your injury or your training cycle with a totally unique lens.
When I'm not hanging out on a Zoom call analyzing movement, tissue load, or training mechanics, you'll probably find me out in the wild doing some human-powered mountain travel. I live for climbing, backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and whitewater kayaking, and I absolutely love enjoying all these active mountain sports with my awesome wife.
